On Cardagin day 3 we moved around a lot considering that we started at the Cardigan lodge, went on the nature trail, and ended up back at school. As we moved along the nature trail we noticed that there was some wintergreen on either side of the trail. Actually we had no idea what wintergreen was or what it tasted like until our guide told us. Further down we learned about partridge berry. The knowledge that partridge berries were edible and what they looked like was moved back to Hopkinton with me as well as the facts about wintergreen. I showed the partridge berries to my sister and she really likes them even though I think they are a bit bland. It is cool though to find edible and semi edible things in the woods. Some physical things that moved back to Hopkinton from Orange with me was some clover like plants and tree gum. I had hoped to give it to my siblings to show them how bad tree gum was and I wanted to give them some thing decent to go with it. We visited a steam and removed some ugly looking bugs such as stonefly larvae from the stream so we could sketch them. Even though the stonefly larvae were moved back to the stream the sketches I drew of them moved back to Hopkinton with me. When we got back from our hike we ate lunch and waited for the bus. Then we got on the bus and moved back to Hopkinton.
